Trust me, you're gonna get sick of pricks asking if you're from aussie, even after you've told them you're a kiwi.

Got the wheels so we can go for a blat... are you bringing your jacket? otherwise you'll hafta wear the missus's (see attached).... you'll look so cute!!! LOL!
Not quite. 2 more days and I'll be lifting off, will arrive in Brussels airport at about 8:10am and then have a 3 day camp, which after I will be going to my new host family!

As mum said, the tatt should be enough to know I'm from NZ. And if not, I've got the accent down pact.

Looks like the pink one it is eh?

Who are you going with? AFS? It'd be sweet to meet up in France somewhere. Will see how we go eh? Keep in touch.

LOL, I wouldn't expect many people here to recognise nz... The majority are very introverted (read: have their heads up their arses and wouldn't recognise the us, let alone nz

No worries, I've got ear plugs so that and the wind noise should drown out his bitching/moaning/screaming/praying to god to spare his life....

Belgish or kiwi accent? we sound just like aussies to them mate, be prepared to learn to speak slowly and clearly... the kiwi accent is pretty hard for them to understand aye.

We'll take pics for Mum & Dad

Ther Belgians love NZ and its people, something to do with our Kiwi soldiers, I guess (however they are not so fond of the Aussies).

You could need more than ear plugs!
He should be speaking French (with a Kiwi accent, of course). One of the AFS rules is you must make a real effort to learn the language, shouldn't be too hard, he will be surrounded by it, home, school and everywhere else!

    Look forward to the pics....

Oh of course! Didn't think of that. The assistance didn't make it this far north and the Dutch capitulated in 3 days. guess there're more differences in the Dutch and Belgians than I realise.

Yeah I'm sure he'll pick it up pretty quick, especially with all those hot Belgian girls around.

When do you find out what town you're gonna be in?
