This paranoia over SH16 is a bit stupid.. yes it pays to be cautious of police but if you're going legal speeds it really isn't an issue.

I've done SH16 many, many, MANY a time and am yet to even see a cop let alone get pulled over. I wouldn't recommend doing 70 down 16 on a Sunday, that's just down right dangerous. Do 100, but keep it safe.

I realise you're a learner, but the only instance I know of a police even caring about the 70 thing is when they've already caught you going over the posted limit, and they want to hammer on and even bigger fine.

Enjoy your ride, doing 70 will just stress you out, and for such a long ride it will take AGES.

    Day trip and Live Band

Just found out my mate's band gonna have gig at Botanical Garden 1:30pm.

I'm thinking of going to that one so make the trip lot shorter and come back to auckland by 12pm.

Apparently there gonna be food and all sort of stuff. It's a part of multicultural event hosted by National Party.

Event gonna start aroung 12pm so I want to get there by 1pm.

    Anyone keen to go?
