Think this time I might have had something some people would have been interested in - using a multimeter to measure resitances and voltages for doing the wiring of the bike (fault finding) and adding new electrical parts to the bike.

However.. if anyone is interested let me know. I'm no electro guru but I know a bit. You can drop by my place and look at the electrical loom I have out, and some of the wiring diagrams.

Hope you had a good time. I'm soused.
Hey Lone Rider, I'm slowly starting to add new bits to my bike too. Inverter for running video camera, replacing bulbs with LEDs and adding extra LED brake lights for extra vis. Soon, extra driving lights too.
If yours is still in bits over the weekend, could be fun to have a chat to you about it all ...
I wish you'd told me you were selling that lovely strat a few weeks back, I just bought one. I needed a cheap strat that wasn't 'made' cheap and had a maple fingerboard. Found one at Cashies for a little over what you want for yours. Poos.
Good luck with that 7 string, they're very very nice machines. If you're selling that it really shows your enthusiasm for motorbikes.
Reckon I might have your stand tho ...

Well I do have 5 guitars, I'm getting rid of two :P

And I have a fully custom Fender Strat that I am keeping.

Hoping to have bike going tonight - just taking in a new rectifier to work to see if its reading the right resistances on a multi meter. I suspect my MM is poos.

Try Canterbury Auto Electrical, Waterloo Rd .
They stock or can get nearly any auto motive electrical bulb made.
They have never failed me on supplying either the original item or an item that will do the same job.

WTF its a standard bulb and repco does or used to stock them, I suspect its more about lazy sales staff anyhow C.A.E.S as suggested is a great idea.

    Take a look here http://www.hella.co.nz/?t=9&View=Full&pcid=286&pid=950
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
