    First Ride KTM525smr

Never a good idea to buy a Bike then have it sitting in the garage for a month not being able to ride it due to no trailer or Towbar (a short term issue), but with some great people on KB namely CHOPPA that problem was soughted, he came over picked up the bike (I wasnt even home the bike wasnt quite ready as the chain wasnt installed but no problem Choppa did that to FUCKING LEGEND)

    SO

So I got to the MOTOTT yesterday hoping to get a bit of practice in before the next round of the VMCC next month, Fortunetly it was a nice day as I only have slicks on the bike at the moment.
I had a once over on the bike then into it, I went out in the medium group as I was expecting to be slow on it (first ride n all) fact of the matter was I basically passed the entire field which was great, the handling on the bike was absolutetly spot on, suspension and brakes where awesome and I was nothing less than impressed about the whole ride.

One of the highlights was dicing with Meeky mouses bro (cant remember his name) we had a great battle dicing for the lead (in our own little race) its was awesome................have to say I got him ! (love it when a old prick like me can take on the younglins)

I went on to do two more sessions one more in the medium then I stepped up to the next group to be basically owned by the litre bikes, surprisingly only on the straights, the sportsbikes accelerate away from me on the straights then brake hard for the corner around 200-150 metres, for me not until 100 metres (so so light) so you can be only 50 mtres behind them at the corners. I took great delight in going around a few of them as well, I think I pissed one of them of, coming into the hairpin a "something sportsbike) whipped up the inside of me and hit the picks I just shot past and took him on the outside it was as the younglins say truly SICK, he looked back as if "what the fuck" oh well

So great day, and had awesome fun, now bring on the VMCC, back to racing for me !!
Ive run out of fucks to give

So the farmbike is ok then?

If you can't enjoy a motard, then there's something wrong with you!

I've found that my farmbike is a bit hard on the tyres when you take it out on the shingle roads. But suspect you won't have to worry about that
