Thanks everyone for organising this! I'm new to riding - but like all my hobbies I want to learn everything there is to know about it! I'd love to come along to one of these nights, maybe next week but more likely the one following.

So who'd be up for helping an absolute noob learn everything he can?

Sounds like I might be the youngest coming along if/as/when I do, but I promise I'll "embrace the culture" and have a drink .

Any suggestions of stuff to bring/do before I come along? My first session will probably be just all the simple stuff (changing brake fluid, tweaking cables that sort of stuff) but as I keep coming I'd love to learn more if y'all are willing to teach me!

Thanks for getting this organised, and thanks to wofman for the use of his garage!

I reckon that would be a bit too predictable... a bit like a ducati failing to start.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

I thought you were supposed to put petrol in your tank... I don't think that jar would fit into my tank, the opening is a bit small......
Missus: What the f*&k is that???!!!! Where the f*&k do you think that's going??
Me: It's a [insert old broken vehicle here] can't you tell?
Missus: Oh for f*&k's sake... [slams door]
Me: Phew, lucky she didn't see what's on the trailer!
