I was in that team with Ray when all that shit happened,I was the rider that stayed on only for that to turn to custard half way through the nationals,I can tell you for sure that Clive was only doing what he was told to do,yeah at the time I thought he was a wanker to,however after hearing all what happened behind the scenes there was way more to it than you could imagine.

Didn't have much to do with Clive, but I got the impression his heart wasn't in the competition scene. Couldn' t imagine him getting his hands dirty.

He was the CEO of BWH wasn't he so who was telling him what to do?

I never could understand his strategies and that included bike marketing road and dirt, let alone talking about competition.

And that's the story of Blue Wing Honda since time began Merv. It has always been difficult to find logic in the BWH agenda.

Maybe the new boy will herald a change for the better.

Now I see the interview article in BRM and the racer isn't Australian or Pom, he is the son of a well known NZ dirt racer and well known racer himself, or am I talking about the wrong team?

Welcome to Honda Mr S. Enjoy kicking some Suzuki butt.
    Cheers
