Nah mate, nuthin' to rub in there, those CB13's are nice bikes, I particularly like the semi-faired one though.
Sorta bol'd'or but modern in a retro way.
I almost like em as much as XJR13's. Modern classic's along with the GSX14 and ZXR12.

We test rode the semi faired version before Maha bought the naked. I hated it! Really, got off the thing and was not very complimentary at all. It was a bit older to be fair, but YUK! Pillion configuration was crap (compared to the trumpy) and I felt like I was about to launch off the back anytime!

The retro colours look great! Retro, makes me laugh, I am retro if it comes to that, these were the colours of my youth But the bike we rode did not ring any bells for me for sure, even allowing for the little compartments for lippy and hairspray in the bikini fairing

Maha took one look at the naked here at our local shop and it was obviously game over for him. I decided to man up and just get over it! So pleased I did! I was so spoiled on the Triumph for pillion configuration, it was the BEST I have ever experienced. The CB is great.

My biggest problem now is the height of the pillion peg. I am vertically challenged and that step up to the peg can be challenging, especially on a heavily cambered road. Maha is very good at finding a bit more level place for me to mount gosh that could be considered rude in the right company...LOL. I have had to take the knee armour out of my pants so my knees can bend in comfort (I hate that bit) but otherwise it is a fantasic bike.

I was very impressed. I never realised the 9 had an silver swingarm before, I always thought it was painted black. Same with all the other shiney bits lol. Bloody thing looked brand new.

See you guys Friday, have a safe trip Maha and Mom, watch out for dodgy bikers on Vinegar Hill
