Looks pretty good! I like the look of the red and white 2008 R1 though. I hope my dad gets the 08 or 09 sometime soon!

.... Besides because of the technological trickery this bike contains it may be the most significant advance in sports bikes since the original GSXR, I'd have one on those reasons alone.
Hell yes. That uneven firing order will be a real bonus for road use. It may encourage a lot of V-twin riders back to il-4s.

Silly question but is that 180 HP at the crank or at the wheel? I never saw any hp measurements

Should issue them standard to the pollies... it'd get Uncle Helen to the rugby on time... possibly be quick enough for Winnie to dodge some of the crap coming his way LOL

OK - back to serious mode. YUM! I love the R1s anyway... this looks like another fine example.

really dunt like the look of it ehh..man what have they done?? really loved the look from the 04 to the 07's...08 wasnt that bad but the 09's light's look like the eyes of a P fiend in town on a saturday night..specs look amazing though especially with the uneven firing rate engine and the sounds is farkin amazing bt the front kills it for me.
For those of you whose use the fast lane on motorways and only do a 100km/hr, can you pls use the middle lane, some of us like to ride at 105km/hr thank you very much.

Hmm might have to wait until they arrive - the new CBR looked a bit...in photos but is sweet in the flesh, the new Rotax Buell looked naff in the photos and well, the front still looks naff in the flesh

    Surprised regarding the high pipes.
