    Gsxr 1000 k5 race fairing on a K7 750

Will a k5 1000's race fairings fit a K7 750/600 with a bit of modification (not to much i hope)

If anyone has done it please let me know what you have had to do to make it fit. Was it just a case of put it on and its all good or was there some serious mods done?

PS If you dont know dont waste my time with bullshit posts I dont care that your bucket runs gsxr fairings ...... feel the love

simlar shapes should i would think fit. be a bit of moding here and t here, would expect the tail to fit rather similar between both bikes.

biggest problem would be the exhaust shape on the k6-k7 models.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

sweet thanks guys I have the same feeling they should fit with minor changes.

The only thing i think might be a problem is the air intakes. I will do some measurement over the week and have a look.

Put a K3 setup onto a K1 (thous), even though they're quite closely related, it still took a bit of griding. Mostly because it was race fairings onto a street bike (under the shock/sidestand area), but also up the sides. The ones you're talking about are quite a bit different, should be a fun afternoon at least.

Had a look yesterday at sixpacks bike next to mine and it aint going to work the side panel might fit but the air intakes are in completly different places. the 750's are much close togethar at the frame end than the tho's

    Gutted.

Was surprised how much grinding I had to give the K3 ones to fit the K1 (actually, I think it was K4 onto K2).

You could probably 'make' them fit... but they'd probably be well butchered. Not sure what the end goal is (track plastics or custom bike), but if it's custom, then I'd be looking for something prettier anyway (not that they're not pretty enough, just that it's an opporunity to get some noice looking lights in there aight!)
