You should never have bought that scooter... before you know it, you will actually choose to ride it, even when you could take the D or the Car...

I don't know why, but scooters are just great fun. And when $$$ are a bit tight, blasting along with a $67 annual rego and no wof, at 75mpg, just seems to feel good !

the mental image of your rather large frame (not that I'm saying you are fat) tucked on to that poor wee thing just make me laugh...with you, of course, not at you....

That is a sexual position not recommended to be used when riding a scoot.

I used to ride one up and down the gorge everyday! the 2T 50s are a hoot! I even overtook a bus going UP the gorge once! Took abit of a run up, me being in full race crouch, and feet pushing along once in awhile Flintstones styles, but it got there! It wasn't just a normal Suzuki Sepia, it was the race ZZ one! woo hoo!!

There was one with a nitrous kit fitted for sale on trademe awhile ago... They reckoned it would do 90 on the straight! Haha!

    Off Trademe? Good wee scoot.
Having dissed scooters for years, they are excellent for short trips and urban combat. They are also very rewarding if you want to tune them - with so littl epower you really notice if you have made a difference.
Look on the Scootling BBS for info. Scootling also sell the gofast bits.

Over the handlebars. you remember me on the two fiddy. You commented that I seemed to fold up quite small when I rode that (I remember trying to hide behind that iddy biddy fairing on the way to Napier from Taupo.)

I started to do some informal road racing in cat c. Started to get quite competitive but then work hours ate into training hours and I gave it away again. I have a few people down here prepared to train with me in the summer though. Wind trainer is currently on loan to a neighbour.

    What about you?
In space, no one can smell your fart.

Pedalling to work most days at the moment, doing the Scenic Drive loop or Coatesville-Riverhead on weekends, etc.

Not up to handling any respectable road rides yet. Legs are feeling good now, but I haven't bothered much with losing weight, still too heavy to climb properly. All in good time eh...

I'll put in a cruisy "not watching the clock" Round Taupo in Nov and I should be down for Le Race in March if you want to turn up and show me how much faster wanky Italian groupsets are.
