    Thumbs up Thank you!

A big thanks to everyone who organised and to Boob who provided the end venue and a few other goodies. It was a great day and very enjoyable ride. Glad I could meet a few of the riders on KB. Some of you even seem like pleasant people!

Blimey, that was a good day.

    Just a few thank-yous:

Paulmac for the idea and execution thereof, Nadroj and Boob, for picking it up and running with it and anyone else involved in making it happen. It was a credit to your efforts, well done guys.

Pritch008; for taking a stranger under his wing and making me feel very welcome amongst a sea of strange faces.

Blkm109r; for the great piccies, that's my first action shot on the 14, what worries me though is I never saw you take it, which doesn't say much for my radar spotting skills does it. admit it, you were lurking in a bush.

Too many others to mention but it was great to meet you all, not a single one of you resembled my mental image of you, especially Shafty who doesn't actually have a lovely pair of jiggling bosoms

I know I had a good night because as I left I asked Boob what Hitchers first name was so I could say goodbye?? anybody else see Hitcher there??? Old age and booze don't mix mmkay.

Thank you all, here's to the next one.
    Oh bugger

Thanks to all the organists. Hope to see everyone on the roads over the upcoming summer. (Should we be fortunate enough to have one this year..?)

Egmont Rd, about 5km up from where we left... near the hall on the right hand sweeper. Parked bike on the left, he using the fence as a tripod....... Not a tree or bush in sight, Mr Magoo... Brilliant day out, sorry I couldn't stay on at Boobs for long, had the makings of a good night out....

    Yep, I missed that one!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I've got a list of peoples names (including the ones that couldn't make it) so will keep that for the future. No doubt there will be a whole list of new people that will join KB before the next get together so will keep on top of that as well.

Thanks also has to go to those from out of Taranaki that made the effort to come visit us, it was great to meet you and look forward to seeing you again.

Also if anyone wants a high res copy of a pic, PM me your email and I'll send it to you.

As I said earlier, Great Day, Great Company, Great Ride.

No doubt we'll catch up again soon, it'd be a good idea to add everyone (or at least those that you want to!) to your "Friends" list.
Easy way to keep in touch and see if anyone wants to go out for a ride sometime too...

Seems I missed a great event and would definitely appreciate a heads-up on any repeats. Have to admit I tried the Sprint on for size this weekend but unfortunately the rebuilt knee doesn't quite bend that far yet, and if my surgeon found out...

    Next time
