    Taupo to Napier to Palmerston North - Catwalk Conquest Tour

    The CatWalk Trust has been given the opportunity to import and promote a Martin Conquest motorcylce from the UK. The Conquest is a 3 wheeler motorcyle designed for users in wheelchairs. It is doing a national tour, Auckland to Southland, late October and early November. I would like to see how many kiwiriders are keen to join the various legs of tour.

    Please post any information on recommended cafe/pit stops along the way.

    The Taupo to Napier leg will be on Tuesday, 4th November. Assembly at Bella Vista Motel at about 8am.
    - Leaving Bella Vista Motel, Taupo at 8:30am, arriving Gull Service Station, Napier at 10:30am.
    - then onto Back-Up NZ, Ahuriri at 10:45am

    - Leaving Back-Up NZ, Napier at 12pm, arriving Clifton Bay Cafe, Hastings at 12pm.
    - then onto Gull Service Station, Hastings at 1:30pm

    - Leaving Gull Service Station, Hastings at 2pm, arriving TBC, Dannevirke at 3:30pm.

    - Leaving Dannevirke at 4pm, arriving TBC, Palmerston North at 5pm.

    Next leg of the tour is Palmerston North to Wellington, via Wairarapa and Kapiti Coast.

    Do you provide trainer wheels for the participants? Most of us can't ride that slow for fear of falling over....
    Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Yes it is pretty cruisy. Don't forget, tho, it is a Charity Tour not a Competitive Sprint
