There is a thread floating around at the moment where a member has stated
"In addition to xxx's example I could rattle off a dozen everyday scenarios where the general public would have a very definite and unfavourable perception of us"
Sadly this member seems unable to come up with the rattle, so I thought it would be a good idea if we could all help him out
There has already been one example given by xxx so there have to be 12 more, here is the one already given...
"I know it's safe to pass the way you just did, and you know it's safe to pass like you just did (or maybes you don't care), but the people in the car sure didn't think so. Maybe you didn't need to go that close and make that much noise (felt good, though, didn't it?)"
Remember folks this has to everyday scenarios, not one off things that happen.
I will be editing this first post as we find the 12...
1. Inconsiderate lane splitting
2. Hurling abuse at a driver for not moving far enough out of the way
3. when there are only two or so cars waiting at the lights and the biker has to go to the front and pull in front of the lead car and sit on the pedestrian crossing are, just to be in front.
4. Overtaking while crossing double yellow lines
5. Loud, obnoxious pipes
6. Very close overtaking
7. Shorts, tee shirts and no boots or gloves while riding
