    Yeahhh... they had in the parade motorbikes and Zephers(FORD) and big V8's and (more than one) pipe band... oh yeah, a few blossom festival floats too...

    You're showing your age... I think the MK2 utes were panelbeater specials, I dont know if any came factory made...

    They did come factory - Kiwi MK2 utes were Aussie bodied but in the UK they had a different style at the back of the cab - more like an Austin ute, more staight up-and-down.

    '56 Mainline utes were only made in Ausie - yanks are amazed when they see one.

    Anyone interested in doing a day ride out of Cromwell / Alexandra during this Holiday week.
    Cromwell - Makarora - Wanaka - Cardrona - Arrowtown - Cromwell ???
    Just a loop suggestion. Great roads for the twisty's!

    Went for a small ride today only to find I'm down to the steel belt on the back. Need an urgent tyre job b4 Wednesday. I think it was that Give Way I smoked thru under braking just out of Oamaru!
