He wasn't first home in the Taupo 1/2 marathon......... You want someone fast? Get Sidecar Bob to team with ya. Mention there's poon over by ya bike, and he'll be there faster than Robbie Bugdens Superbike!! (Oh, but he'll be sniffing around for it for the whole duration of the race...... so probably not a good idea.....)

(Actually, if he does find some, he'll be at it until the 30th..... so I recommend you just go with the Chinese gooseberry)

Ooh ooh..... what about having the flag drop, and then you have to get dressed in your leathers first at the side of the track, then run to your bike?? Gives another meaning to first in, best dressed!!

Actually, we should do what the sidecar class did years back for the preliminary races. Put the swingers names in a hat, then the riders have to pull out the name, and then the poor bastard would have to swing on the chosen rig!! Made for great amusement and hilarity. (And the odd bruised ass and pride.... and many beers.....)

Imagine Jrandom teaming up with Stroud........., or Enema teaming up with Merkel.......

That sounds like a good idea

PS I like the get dressed thing as well. Also when they change riders there must be a little have to do as well. Maybe the same type of thing when the rider stop the other one has to get into his or her gear.

Why don't we turn this into a real test of endurance. Why don't we make it compulsory for each rider to have to complete an obstacle course prior to getting on the bike, so they're stuffed before the start?........
Now that would separate the men from the...... unfit men.....
