It's about time this thread was made a 'sticky' like the 5 other regular ride threads huh? Who do I have to sleep with to arrange this?

Oh. We'll probably start coming along in a few weeks. Presently we have our 2 year old grandaughter for tea on Wednesday nights while her mum is at uni.

Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

And I was thinking naughty naughty someone wearing a motorcycle back patch on a vest

Pretty cool though - they aren't listed on the merchandise page on here though?

Would be good vests with a printed club logo on it if you are doing charity runs like St. Johns.

    Thanks Timmmaay!

Yep... so did I, from about 16... then one day I realised, 'Hey, I'm a DINK!', and they're so cheap now there's no reason why I couldn't have one in the garage! (plus I've been building my other bike for an age and was getting withdrawl symptoms)

So I brought one! You should too! They say you'll only be sixteen once.... they lie!!!! Looking forward to finishing the other bike, then I can lavish the attention on it that such a bike deserves

BTW, it's not an SP, not even a factory LS... It's a 1993 VJ22P which was built by an RGV nut from up north, he did a pretty nice job on it, especially the logos on the side panels. After doing the Lucky Strike vinyl job on OABs GSXR1000, I know how hard it is to get the proportions and placement 'just right'.

Tim went and got Spanks permission to get his vest made.

Hope you're not referring to KB as a club. That will get you in to trouble as plenty of discussion on the topic here somewhere ended in KB definitely not a club.

Well, if it were me.... I'd be contacting NSRDan to see if he still has that freshly rebuilt 300cc Tyga NSR250 for sale at the extremely fair price of $5500... bargin imho.

Yeah no kidding. Have said as much myself for sure. Was meaning more - it's good to know about those being made in case a club wants to have some made.

Patches, shirts, groupies, people saying they are in/with the KB group, and gatherings aside.. not a club for sure. I don't think anyone would want to be president of the Christchurch rabble :P

To add to what has been said.
A patch on the back makes you fair game as a gang.
Years ago Ulysses, use to have their patch on their backs and now they do not after a few.... let's say, not so friendly meeting with other people that wear patcher's on their backs.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

Good point. I hadn't considered that although I'd hope they wouldn't see an old fart on a Transalp as a rival 'gang'.
