Red face Where are you on the political map?

Find out by completing the attached quiz. You don't have to vote for the US presidency to get a score.

Using percentages is a bit biased isn't it? I scored 100% for personal issues, but 20% for economic. So it's suggesting I'm for people, anti economy? I'm for economy, just against the people manipulating it to make eye wateringly rich people even incredibly more wealthy.

That 20% came from being against government bail outs. It's brilliant how the conservatives are trying to act like they're against being given money.

True economic conservatives are against being 'given' money. Of course, it's always very hard for any given person or institution to apply that principle in their own case.

But, mmyes, the current Murkn bailout plan is a blatant pulling of the finger to classic market-driven capitalism, and an acknowledgement that when things really turn to shit, sometimes the State has to take control to minimise the misery and destruction that would result from allowing the issues to resolve themselves.

    Interesting article here.

Not enough questions to give an accurate assessment.

I don't think I'm as far left as the poll suggests.

edit. Tried the other poll. Perhaps I am that far to the left. Interesting.

    Your political compass
    Economic Left/Right: -7.00
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.00

    Bugger me. I'm Ghandi reincarnated.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I note that thatcher and Hitler both fall in this sector, with Thatcher being alot further right , and Hitler being higher up the chart.

Indeed. The one I posted is dodgy at best, having been promulgated by a libertarian web site.
