Talking Triumph owners' get-together... The Beaumont Pub

    Hey dudes and dudess's

Have had so much fun this weekend. I Joined the Triumph Owners Club over a year ago, but due to one thing or another, haven't managed to get to any of their do's. all that changed this weekend though.

Left Queenstown mid morning with Chucky19, and had lovely weather until the frigging wind kicked in.........grrr

Got to Beaumont and threw the tent up, and went to meet the others who had set off from Dunedin earlier on. Met up with about 6 other bikes in Milton, and heard the distant rumble of bikes coming towards us. By tyhat time thenumbers had gone up to 27 bikes still with more from Invercargill still to come.

A few went on the punt thingy, and the rest of us made out way back to the pub to commence the evenings merriment. Knew it was going to be fun, as my mate Clive of Clydeval was there already with a beer with my name ont it, and boy it was warm. (the weather, not the beer!!)

Soon as the sun went away from the pub, we took our leaner table across the road, to get the last of the sun, and Chris (a top geezer from Christchurch) went and bought a bottle of red to wash down the wicked bbq the pub put on....oh yes our little table had finesses alright.......................

We found out the table was having its last night as it was a tatty little table, so we gave it a good send off, everywhere our group was table went with us

We all signed it with various anecdotes.........met the pub cat, (whiskey) which was mental......there was a resident jack russell puppy (pip), don't normally do jack russell's but argh, this one was sweet.

Got absoultely mullered then started on the shots with a group from Christchuch, the last sh€ot being a tequilla with squirts of lemon in the eyes.......youch, never friggin well doing that again.....

The night just got funnier and funnier. A guy and his wife turned up in a 66
woosley, next minute poor old Gary (the owner) was taking us for a ride round the block in it......Really groovey being in a car the same age as me.

Woke up to someone shaking my tent shouting at me to get up........god this is becoming a regular thing now......not all of us have to charge home at 6am...

Anyway knew it was time to get up when the jack Russell was thrown in my tent, seen that thing pee on the carpet the night before so wasn't hanging around when I pushed the pooch back out of my tent.

The ride home was predictable, horrible........hangovers and bike riding don't go together eh....the bike got heavier I got more tired, if I could have paid someone to ride it back for me, I would have!!

The weather was fantastic though, blue skies, really warm and no wind.

So now sitting tapping this out before I squeeze out the zzzzzzzzzzz's

Bronze are having a meet at Enfield next weekend, so looking forward to that....I love summer

Hanging out with the triumph dudes was an absolute blast and I love my trumpy even more now....

have decided to make a rocket 3 trike when I win $30 million this weekend....Imagine how cool that would look eh..

    Night all.

Hey WB, sorry I had to miss it! Sounds like a fun time. I actually read your whole blurb for once! Yea, I know, I usually skip over the big posts, Slap Slap, but it kept me entertained.
