Dang thats lucky. Here's hoping they can be id'd from the footage if there is any....

What do we have to do. Nail, bolt, padlock and triple chain everything we own. Bring back the days when you could go out and leave your doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition....... Sad state of affairs indeed

Nice story and nice lead in to promote the straps.

Whats suggested retail Daffyd? And feel free to send me a set to test, and if I like them I will promote them to my customers.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

The RRP for a set of Moto Hook Ties is going to be around $125 and the single secure rack strap is going to be around $67.50. Also have you got an email address as I have some suspension queries?

It is a sad state of affairs mate - yet we have more police officers and security firms these days(costing the public heaps) and still more crime! - I think they must attract thieves and crooks. Mind you the police are usually too busy thieving off the motorists and twiddling with their speed cameras and radars and wasting petrol to notice all the stealing thats going on.Makes me sick.
As a matter of interest - I wonder what causes this rise in crime - what are other peoples views on this? What are your ideas on solutions?
Whether you think you can or cant - you will always be right.

I don't mean to be negative and I only say this because it's reality.
If someone really wants your bike, they will have it regardless of how you lock it down.

All you can do is insure yourself up to the hilt and try not to cry too much when they finally get it.

poverty, jealousy, laziness. As many have said "if someone wants it, they can get it but there's a million things you can do to make it harder for them and easier to find if they do get it. It just sucks that ya have to spend all this time, money and effort just to keep something that you've already paid for

Ive been searching for those wheel clamplocks for bikes that hold the bike upright too- Ive Googled ' motorbike wheel clamp lock' and ventura wheel clamp' cos I thought thats who makes them but I cant find the thing Ive seen in the past. they have a trough that you drive the front wheel into and it rocks forward and locks and the bike is held- I think they are for in the shed but I have heard that you can also put them on the trailer- Is this right?
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......
