    Were any of you guys heading west from Whitianga towards Coromandel town about lunchtime? I was heading the other way and saw a bunch of bikes in the twisties about 10 minutes from Whitianga. Noticed a Buell and black Kawasaki 1400 among them, but was a bit occupied for waving!

    Had a good ride back in the company of what looked like a 916 Duke. We stuck together at ummmm... a "good" pace on the straights and sweepers apart from both anchoring up when my detector saved us from the HWP at Kuatounu. However, I got impressively slaughtered over the Coro Hill . A most enjoyable ride.

    That would have been the group I was with that went straight through to Coromandel town. I'm feeling a bit sore in the thighs the day after!

    That was probably me on the 14 and Waylander on the Buell, I didnt see another black 14 all day.
    Was a great day out folks but Im seriously not ride fit, was knacked when I got home. Great to see you again Felix, best of luck for the Grand Challenge this weekend

    Stopped at Tairua to help barbender and take him back to orks. Wasn't doing the full run anyways as I had a half day leave pass
