I was interested to hear that AckerDacker have the second-largest number of back catalogue sales next to the Beatles, and as it's growing every year, it will soon surpass them. Some 2.5 million per year, and growing.![]()
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
Cant wait for them to tour in NZ. If they miss us out I'll get over to Aus to see them. I haven't bothered down loading the new album I'm happy to wait until it comes out this weekend and get my own legit copy.
First rock band I ever saw live with Bon Scott banging out the tunes and seen them twice more since. Bring it on![]()
Put your black stovepipes on, hop in the Valiant and get on down to your nearest record store.
"Standing on your mother's corpse you told me that you'd wait forever." [Bryan Adams: Summer of 69]
The new album really does kick some ass, I love the fact that ACDC always deliver the goods!! I must admit that Ballbreaker is my favourite album, just love the bluesy rock shit man!!!!![]()
I ride the dirt, I ride the tide
I search the outside, search inside

Remind me of what left this outlaw torn

Anyone who makes a claim that this stands up alongside Back in Black needs to be shot, beaten, shot again.
FFS, Back in Black is one of the greatest rock albums of all time. This is not.Its not even a great AC/DC album
Though it does rank above Blow up your Video and Stiff upper Lip, right alongside Ballbreaker.
Crap in other words.
I'll buy it anyway.
The rock said something about them coming next summer..
Fingers crossed
Pleasantly surprised also with it being a pretty listenable album.
Not their best but not so bad either.
And very very good to hear a Marshall Superlead amp used like it was originally intended. AC/DC have always had amazing guitar tones.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
