Its not the bike. The guy in the mini van is more than likely on this site and knows how full of shit you are and thought he would do the decent thing and knock you off your perch. Clearly he missed, Oh well all ways next time.

as much fun as it would be, i had to grow up sometime.
racing you on the road would defeat everything i have achieved for myself in the last 6 months.
trackday only mate, hampton downs should be open by then.

something like were "dangerous riders"
its all good and true!
hang on, wern't you just suggesting a race on the road, whats this, back down part one?
whats next, a horsepower restriction?
you also forget i change my bikes every 6-3 months, and i also have a modded VTR 250 in my shed.
the gixer is a bus on the tight stuff, and after 2 weeks im starting to get the hang of it
Indeed! When I rode a 250 (and even my little RG150) I would filter to the front and never had any trouble getting away on time from the cars...power to weight ratio takes care of things nicely if you ask me.
Maybe the person who made that comment wasn't any good getting off the line...a few too many stalls in their learner journey perhaps?
Carver...sorry to say it but not all Gixxer riders get grief from other road users.
In my experience those that do are the ones kinda asking for it.
