This particular bike is a minter, and although they don't generally have a high value, this one is worth way more than the asking price.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
Hello officer put it on my tab
Don't steal the government hates competition.
Spoke to Mike on the phone yesterday. I'm going to have a gander at it this afternoon rain, hail or sunshine. The reason I bought Gerty(discontinued jap market CB750FC2 ) new back in '86 was these had 16" front wheels. A fad all manufactures were going through at the time.
I hope you buy it, Bonez.
1. It is a bargain
2. You would be a suitable, appreciative owner, and...
3. Nice to keep it in the 'family'

Well went for a ride, saw it, rode it, it's done deal. Another bike for the Bones's dinosaur emporium. On the ride back home I was already thinking about the changes I'm going to make over time. Will get it sometime next week. Just have to convince her indoors for a cash top up (done- bless her little cotton socks).
It's probably had a few knocks and bangs (which bike hasn't at this age) since you saw it last MTRS but used this article as my guide.

Also shares a few consumables with Gerty and Gerble. Just need to come up with a name it. Hmmm CuBiX maybe.
I saw it last weekend...it looked fine enough to me then. Glad you bought it though. It seems a fine bike. And for the money...you should be ashamed for taking advantage.![]()

Good on ya Bonez. I thought about buying one myself a long time ago.
Bonez's retirement home for old ondas.
Should be a good one for the longer rides. Will be good to see it alongside Sarahs
That was my thoughts too Gary. It was the next IL4 model from Skippy and Gerty. Basic engine layout, but with cable actuated as opposed to hydraulic actuated clutch with 5 speed as opposed to the cbx750s 6 speed gearbox, is in the Cb750 Nighthawk range which is still in production http://www.honda.co.jp/motor-lineup/...ial/index.html. There was also an HRC kit for them( which had a dry clutch, slide carbs, 4-1 exhaust and did away with the hydraulic tappet setup) for endurance events which I wasn't aware of.
Might be able drag the stepson on a few runs or bring Connie on the Friday ride occationally. Found a UK ad for one thats done 80,000 miles so it seems you can get a reasonnable run from them if looked after. I'm now quite well aware of the issues these can have. At the time Honda must've had large share holdings in a chain manufacturer.
Now that I think about it I didn't get the CBX into 6th gear............................
