I remember doing this ride 2 years ago and quite near the start a racing ATV had got a bit flighty and crashed into a tree - there were pieces of suspension lying quite a few metres away from the rest of the bike and one sorry looking arse sitting there watching the world ride by ....

i poped into advance wholesale motorcycles today for a bit of a look around. they have a shit load of bike's in there, something to suit every one and at some fairly good prices to. and they can import bike's to order if they dont have what your after. there on waverly st off hillside road, check it out next time your down that way

A beautiful day to ride South to greet fellow riders from around Southland & Otago. I estimate 80-100 bikes turned out for comraderie, pork spit sammies, and the occasional beer. A nice badge was minted for the occasion too. The Publican gave prizes for best bikes etc and then proceeded to wander around the bikes handing out beanies to anyone in his way. Good on ya mate!
Forgot my camera BUT the best bike was a 1975 Suzuki RES, a water cooled rotary owned by a female invercargil rider & Bladerider97. (Take note Jantar!)
KB'ers on site were Tjwatt, Silvergrin (& Michelle), Xaria, Nighthawk, Scummy & Chrissiebimbo, & Phaedrus that I remember. Others??? !!!
