Rode down to Manfield on Friday. Spent Saturday helping a friend in the pits and watching, and listening, and learning, and all these guys and gals knew what they were on about.
I've long-ago learned that when seeking the answer to a question it pays to ask at least five people. If three of the five provide the same answer then there's a fair bet the answer is correct.
But there, at Manfiled, every Q I asked of so many, got the same or very similar answer. Clearly, people who know what they're talking about.
I'm hooked. I just have to do that in full-out competition. Bugger this track-day stuff; although I want to do one, just as an apprentice.
Anway...Rode down Friday. Did Saturday at the track. Rode back today. Decided that the boring run home wasn't for me so turned left and went through National Park. Good choice, cos I arrived at a sign reading, Kawhia.
Thought, 'Never been there. Better go now.' So I did. Out and return using all the stuff I'd learned from the real riders.
Jesus, people. Kawhia, out-and-return, is biker heaven.
