Best I could do on the delta was about 23,000rpm on the second time round the rev counter. 23,000 rpm = 170-180kmh
Fast straight and very fast banking sweeper. You could gear up a tooth on the front sprocket. I'm going to leave mine as is and see how we go practice day.
Going anti clockwise ( which we probably won't) would definately be worth the extra tooth.
158kph at Pukekohe, 117 at Taupo and my regular speed anti clockwise at Mt Wellington is 86 and I have seen 94 recorded on the same bike by an "A" rider. Shows you what carying corner speed does for top end. Speeds recorded using a Cat Eye Velo5 cycle speedo that displays the max speed and set to the correct rolling diameter of the wheel.
How accurate are these cycle speedo's anyway?
