+1 same as last year, was good group and sweet ride up. Guess we are one buell less this year?

I'm staying at home. Just me, me cat, me bikes, me cameras and the drags on Sat.

Probably go through the Maunga on Fri evening and some of the other trails at various times over the weekend.

All in the interests of tyre research of course.

I've been tempted over the years to put a sleeping bag on the back of the XR and get dropped off at Pelorus and ride over to the rally turning up on a non-road-legal '79 XR250 with knobblies and race numbers in oilskins, sheep shaggers, peanut shell, flying goggles and welding gloves.

Or wouldn't they notice anything different from the "normal" punters?

Any time friday arvo/evening.

Been wanting to get some sunset shots from up the summit for a long time now.
Of course that means there won't be a proper sunset friday...
