Sunhuntin it happens a lot (mongrels) I have my wife to help out in bad times, (pillion) trouble is with her yelping and a mutt passing on the left the brain almost goes into a spin...remember cagers do not feel the bump as bad, stay safe...Expect the unexpected...

Just an other day riding in NZ, happens everyday (to me at least), sometimes even multiple times a day... For some reason instead of ignoring them nowdays I need a little kick in the morning and arvo and I seem to revenge by cutting them right off afterwards, sometimes on one wheel for that extra flavor (splitting the lane on the left works really well if you want to give em a fright). But of course, the right thing to do here is just to ignore the bastards and pull over. Its life, have to take the good with the bad.

    Let's review:

How many threads do we have on this board that feature statements like; "..I did 180 kays on the Kawhia Road...", or "...watch this video of me doing a wheelie.."

Then we have the "...all cages are out to get us..." variety.

Can we not start a sub-forum called Pot/Kettle/Black to accommodate these?

    Bullbars solve everything.
Nobody will think "Oh I'll just pull out, he'll slow down for me right?"

Dont you think you should have given her number to the cops then if she had of caused an accident or killed someone with her lousy and dangerous driving and the cops didnt do anything after you giving them her details would mean it would be on their shoulders not yours. We definately dont need cage drivers like her on our roads dangering other road users and its usually people like her who do end up killing or hurting innocent road users who just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. When will people learn that its better to get to an appointment late and free of causing an accident then braking all the road rules and killing someone just to be there on time.

    Hmmm....
I used to think, "If I was driving a truck or 4WD with bullbars on, and one of these morons pulled out in front of me, I'd give them the learn!"
Then one day someone did, when I was driving a Gummint-issue Land Rove with bullbars on. I was driving along, minding my own business and this old lady turned right in front of me. What an ideal opportunity! But (however!) the reactions kicked in, and I stomped on the brakes, locked up all four tyres, and just missed her. She didn't even notice the mayhem of four shrieking smoking tyres and a tonne-and-a-half (or whatever) of 4WD being a few mm from fucking her car. And inside the Land Rover, my poor girlfriend's got her face against the windscreen, and we both had pounding hearts and a huge surge of adrenaline.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Its not just english teachers trying to kill us, its so called profesional drivers too!
Entry to the northwestern at Pt Chev is light controled on two lanes and straight on in the inside lane filtering from the great north road. There is a solid painted hatched area between this lane and the lanes controled by lights, guess what happens here all the time???? today it was the turn of a fooking great truck and trailer to [dive] out and attempt to out drag a 1400cc motorbike into the same piece of road!!! Stupid, blind professional driving cunt!!! Gave him the old black visor stare and head shake only to be met with big grin and the bird. At least I got to my destination safe and sound and a dam site quicker than the prick in the truck.

Just another near miss story from the daily commute.

I've only ever once had a car driver try to deliberately run me off the road. It was on the way to the Paeroa street races earlier this year.

I guess he'd had a few too many motorcyclists piss him off that day.

I've come to take a liking to you, good sir. It is rather odd.
One must say you're a very sneaky and subtle troll.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

I believe once the Christmas decorations hit the stores things go down hill, it will get worse around the time Christmas ads appear on the telly you just watch.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
