What a great day for gardening!

Yeah, I know I should be out on the road on my bike....but with it all in bits and not vinned it is a bit hard to justify, so onto second best!

Have been up here now for almost 2 weeks, and this is the best day we have had for gardening. Sure I have done some work in the garden, but today is different, I have really been enjoying it! The birds are singing, the bees are buzzing. My lorrikeet is squaking its head off, and its just a nice day. I guess that is what comes from ditching Sky TV and having a crappy reception (read sweet fuck all)...

Anyway the garden here is much better than the last place we owned, in fact the last place did not have a garden per se, just weeds!

Here are some pics if ya interested.....and the first pic does anyone know what it is. Was purchased alongside about 25 of its siblings for $10 at Palmers outta a bargan trolley...along with petunias and heaps of dianthis...

Most awesome garden you have there Mr Redneck!!!

I have never been remotely interested in gardening. My mum used to take us to the Garden Centre all the farken time......back then they didn't have those little play centre thingies set up for kiddies. Put me off gardening for life.

But now that we have purchased our first home....feck me, I found myself in the garden pulling out some of the weeds....at least I think they were weeds!!!
No body move... I dropped my brain

    Probably a Penstemon

Very nice gardens. I would imagine their maintenance will soak up some riding time though
