    Ohlins TTX 36

Just ordered an Ohlin's shock from CKT ( Robert) for the Triumph 675 I will race here this year.

This will be an interesting programme, as Ohlin's do NOT make a trick shock for the 675 Triumph as yet? So Robert has done the re search, and will build me a unit form stock parts he has.

I remember we did this together once before when there were No shocks for the GSXR a few years back, as NZ got the very first units in the world then

He did the same thing for Glen's SV, right? Should be no problem at all for that man, I imagine.

Can't wait to see what a top spec Triumph can do in NZ Nat's. Go Shaun

Shaun can be a pain in the butt and I have as much told him so on many occassions. But that in no way precludes sorting a shock spec for this interesting bike and doing whatever it takes to get it working as best as possible. Frankly, I look forward to it and want to demonstrate to Ohlins that they should be making TTX for these.

As I have asked you before Robert, Please keep your personell opinions about me to yourself, ( Even if a joke) I was only tying to show others that I do respect what you can do inside a shock.

People read into shit on the internet Rob

What, like maybe getting the impression that Robert thinks you're a pain in the butt?

It's so easy to misread forum posts innit...

Looking forward to seeing you out on the 675! What was it that made you choose the Triumph to race on?

(I know they're awesome, I'd just like to hear your perspective on what was important.)

Be interesting to see the comparison for ya times stock, then tricked on same bike Shaun !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

No worries and doubtless I can be a pain in the butt too. I fully expect that your experience will be able to nail a setting direction very quickly and I do look forward to this challenge.

Yes I agree they are a very sexy bike and its great to see something different out there.
