Not really no, I think its called a diversion tactic.

No one seems willing to owning up to their involvement in a rep catchment group.

So to get it back on track.

Having a rep group seems kind of tedious to me. One can only hand out so much bling in a 24-hour period. And I think there are way too many genuine instances where it can be awarded, without having to spend this quota for no good or genuine purpose. Indeed there are many days where I run out and some worthy poster misses out.

While I like the concept of a bling system, I accept that it has its downsides, particularly when it is used as a means of abusing or bullying people.

I also don't have an issue with Mr Random having a gazillion blings -- he has probably well earned some of them.
