It would be good to meet you. Don't be shy there are riders off all levels & speeds around here so I'm sure you'll find someone to fit in with- but we all get to the same place in the end.

    Whoooo Hooooo
I like the sound of all of these things happening. I'm self employed which means if I know somethings on i can just get up and go and work around others. as well as that my kids are old enough that if I'm late home its no biggie.
Karla and Helen and Trumpess sounds like we should meet soon. I'm not keen on taking the 1300 over to Akaroa or the likes yet but as soon as I'm comfortable I'll let you know. Only been a few days and the bike and I just need to get a feel for each other. I'll head out later today and if the weather holds then again tomorrow.
whats this magpie thing your all talking about.. Such a big website I'm fighting to find my way around

Tiz a motor cycle rally, in this case bikers of all shapes and sizes, all breeds of bikes meet up at the Winchester show grounds, ya bang a tent up, chill out, talk shit, have a drink or two, wounder around checking the bike show etc out, join in on the lawn mower races... later on ya eat some shitty food listen to the bands, watch half wits do burn outs, tattoo comps etc, and more live music... then ya wake up 9 times out of 10 feeling like shit, have a free crap coffee pack the tent up and ride home at a slower pace that you went there at.

All up ya either into bike rallys or not... I love em the comradery is awesome and ya cant beat an excues for a ride.
    cheers DD

I had a great weekend at this rally last year, it was my first and all since then have been good.

Are you free Thursday _days_ ? At the moment there isn't a Thur night ride, but the Wed night ride is good. There can be quite a good turnout which equals a wide mix of experience, so it often splits into two groups, one for learners and those happy to cruise, and one for those who want to go faster. Usually we all end up in the same place, although some of us () get lost along the way and end up all over the place!

I believe (from experience) that KB is the kind of website you can get lost for days in - lose sleep, forget to eat etc. There should be an "internet addiction" forum here. Luckily we all ride which means we usually manage to get some fresh air and sunshine between posts

Hope you got out in the weekend and the bike is tamed

heck yeah I'm still trying to find my way around the site........ As for taming the beast!! She was lovely. Out to Heathcote on Saturday and rode around for an hour or so and then yesterday with my son on the back out to Spencerville and then visiting. Another 1 and 1/2 hours under my belt.
Its not the bike that slowing me up its the unfit body!!!!! Back to the gym with me
I met a fellow KB'er Gal while out yesterday.
Hopefully we'll have a little jaunt this Thursday. Have a great week one and all

Sounds like there are a few of us gals going along tomorrow night so we'll organize something and post back here.

If it's a nice day Little River/Duvauchelles via Halswell doesn't have too many twists and turns, and we could come back via Wheatsheaf once warmed up. Any other suggestions? 9.30/10ish start ??
