Message from Dave (coz hes too lazy to use his lol)

He went on the road Bombay to Nga which it seems is planned for sunday. He wanted to say that.....

He took the new black beast out for a blat and found the road to be very good cept for a few road works and sticky tar. Thought it would be great for learning on :P It was only 100km but it took him awhile, and he had a sore arse.

Oh and theres still road works heading into Nga but they not too bad.

pants wise i have recently got myself a pair of strada pants they are comfortable have reasonable armour and removable linings i think i paid about $120 for them good value. boots wise i have had a pair of sidi race boots for about 2 yrs comfy on bike and walking and also steel plate in the sole to help prevent crushing. but the choice is yours so choose carefully

Cool mate. Hey was that you I saw riding down Victoria Street this morning?

In terms of gear, have found Boyds have the best selection, Waikato Yamaha second. Hope you find some good stuff. I'm still looking for pants too.

Hi SL, dont get boots off a chap up in mercer, Lifestyle imports. There OK for the street but wouldnt want them on the track ay. Boyds are good, I've found that the guys at Waikato Yamaha are more helpful though. (even to a guy on a suzuki...)

You get what you pay for though..... really cheep usally = Crap
