    An odd request peoples....

It looks like one of the undercoats on the 400s tank is giving up and will need to be striped and painted. I am thinking about sending the tank down to crazyfox to do because he did the initial paint so he should have the colour formula. The thing is I wouldn’t send the whole bike down, just the tank which would leave the bike tankless. One of the functions of the tank is keeping water off/out of the top of the engine. I don’t have shed space and while it is under a cover I don’t trust it that much so dose anybody close-ish to Taradale have shed space it could stay in while the tank is off?
IT may not be happening till December or even the New Year and there may be an option here that MSTRS told me about but have not followed up yet.

    Thanks

I am sure we can find shed space for it. Contact Speights_Bud (Patrick) When he gets back and he could pick it up in the van and bring it out to the farm.

Re the bike tank...I already told you who to see and that he will look after you. Tee it up with him and you can just take the whole bike in. That way, it stays inside and he has the other panels to ensure a perfect match.
Stop making problems that don't need to be....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

We did all we set out to do (and more). Grub's send off was the happy/sad equal of Scott's.
And the gixxer finally triggered the error code thingy... Nos.32/33/34/35...relates to injectors having an interruption in their power source. Probably a little corrosion in a wire joining block. Wayne will study his book to identify which one. Not serious as long as it gets dealt with. Horrible things, these intermittent faults. Bike has done near on 1000ks before it did it with the loop tester in place.
