Wont be joining ya this week...(sigh)...away on another work trip. Loverly weather down here, Mt Cook looks very picturesque from where Ive been watching it all day!
Have a good ride - definitely see ya'll next week
Experience......something you get just after you needed it
Hope you all had a great ride tonight. Work got in the way of life this afternoon so I missed it.
Didnt get home till after 7.00pm so was running really late. I wont make it next week either as I will be on my way to the Burt Munro Challenge
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
Great ride yesterday, loved it. I didn't see anyone with an L plate though and I was the only person riding a 250. There was a 150 there though but I think it had a turbo...
There must be a lot of learners and 250 bikes around and I encourage them to show up for the Wedensday night ride if the weather is good. It's good fun.
Ride fast or be last.
hmm there was plenty of 2fiddys last week
Need something to do when not riding??? Come and learn to dance with us at www.cerocstars.co.nz
made a small modification to my DR350 lastnight.
total cost $0
one peice of quarter inch perspecs (i had lying around)
one yellow brillo pad (from my mums kitchen)
removed the airbox cover the one with 2 tiny little breather holes and made my own custome uintake cover to allow more air to pas through... good old brillo pads... hehehehe also cleaned the airfilter and cleaned the carborator and found some grit in ti which wouldnt have help.
one of my mates said i should change the cover since im not going off road at the momenty cause the one that was on there was to protect the airfilter from water mud and dust...
now instead of toping out at 120 got her up to 140 with no probem this morning. hehehe so now i'll be able to keep up with the 250's... that 150 is way too fast for me... hehehe
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
The Wednesday night ride was started up to give people an alternative to the Thursday one, that didn't involve stunting and (as much as we all enjoy it) thoroughly illegal behaviour. It worries me that people mention speeds that equal reasonable fines and demerits and feel that they have to "keep up". Most of the roads used on the weekday rides aren't entirely bereft of Police presence.
"Quite cruisy" implies something else.
