Track day was friggin excellent, however I was giving the Big Beemer so much stick I too blew a seal on the rear diff. (It must have been when I scraped the footpeg & Centrestand....have you SEEN how high up they are on a GS????)

I got it "repaired" at Experience yesterday, & the weeping of diff oil is now a full on leak. The repair gets re-repaired on Friday.

I'll see you at the Pub for the wash-up, then it's silly season on the Base for the next month or so with the Cpls/Sgts piss-up, St Barbara's Day piss-up & the Big night out piss-up on consecutive thursdays

I'm saddened that you would think I would laugh at your misfortune Rob.

Here's a thought ... Gammaguy may have worked on your bike before ... trying to perfect his diff. repair in his sleep trick.

There was whole pile of piss-poor riding last night. Part of the reason why I took a diversion from the route so I wasn't associated with that crap.

It's just luck no-one was killed. Particularly in relation to overtaking bikes and cars entering blind corners!

Lets just say Morcs, that one particular manoeuvre by a chap made your riding look like mine.

There are concerns guy's n gal's to the ability of some of the riders attending the ATNR.
I know its everybodys choice as to how they ride but...... Some of you racer hero types the head down, knee down mono wheeling gods that you are need to be aware that hot on your heals are some young guns or born agains that have the bike capable of sticking with you down the straights but come unstuck when they get to the corner. I'm not for a second saying slow down or take responsibility for others but what I'm suggesting is split the ride into two halves (Dawn Its your call I guess), how about the quick guys/gals go off first and give the ginga a run for his money and the rest take off a minute later. It would hopefully take the (peer) pressure of some of the others to 'keep up' otherwise I can just see someone coming a real cropper soon.

Am I wrong or is the purpose of the ATNR to get a group of bikers together for a ride and a social afterwards, Its not an elitist group. I know of a couple of people I have suggested come for a ride with us turn me down because they have either heard what goes on or have experienced it for themselves and been 'put off'.

Happy to get shot down in flames but would prefer some genuine discussion on what I consider to be a good night out that I dont whant spoiled.
    I dont think

As I was not there last night, could someone possibly shine some light on the situation?

Did this have something to do with a Silver Daytona by any chance?
