    Taupo Trackdays 23rd Dec, 16 & 17th Jan

Just signed up for trackdays at Taupo on:

    23rd Dec (kiwitrackdays)
    17th Jan (motoTT)

I'll be signing up for another one on 16th Jan (kiwitrackdays) as soon as they put the registration up.

    Anyone else going?

Jan 17th MotoTT is sold out for group 3 already

Going to start seeing people scalping at this rate. Not really a surprise given it's the most legal fun you can have bar sex.

If you haven't done one you should go in group 4 to learn the track etc. They won't mind even if you're a quick road rider. Worst that will happen is they'll move you up a group.

Coming rather a long way just for a trackday, aren't ya? Don't they have tracks in Ireland? Is that why they do so much road racing?

I've just noticed there's a triumph trackday on the 18th as well.

Three days in a row may well make my head explode with delight, if my wallet doesn't explode first.

Email them and book in as a pay on the day rider ! Extra 30 odd notes but you can still pre pay in the last week or bail if you must ! But as El Dopa said group 4 is fine, better more n likely as there are less riders and very few going round ya !

Yeah Aye 3 track days in a row hehehe, just a shame i cant make the triumph track day as we have our SC poker run that day but i'll sure as hell be at the 16th and 17th ones ! If you get sick of the track (long shot i know lol) our poker run is open to all and have camping sites (paddock) at the clubrooms, a feed and bar going on !
On a side note the triumph day is open for other bikes at a slightly extra cost !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Ha ye we got a few tracks alright but there all covered in ice at the moment and Ive sold my bike over here but on a plus side Im in nz for at least a year so will surely get in a trackday at some stage. First though I have to get myself a bike then maybe a job and then somewhere to live but the bike being at the very top of the list Yea when I do a trackday Ill start in the slow group and see how I get on because new bike and new track could mean some "different" lines
But hope to meet some of ye along the way
