That's a learner ride for L-platers, and if you're half decent at riding, even if you're riding a 250, it won't be too much fun.

There's plenty of 250 rides about, look for rides organised by a member called 'Toto'. He did a Northland loop with a decent group yesterday. He's pretty much the lead organiser of 250 rides on KB! Even though he betrayed us by getting a 900 hornet.. haha.

Otherwise looks for SMC rides, that always attracts a good contingent of 250s.

Or come on one of the NASS Wednesday night rides, generally all 250s. And if you don't enjoy the skills learning side of things (Which is what NASS is) you can always grab a few of the blokes numbers and they're all a good bunch to go riding with.

Just ask about or post some interest for a ride here and somebody will pipe up, riders have a tendency to enjoy.. riding.

I'm up for an under 600cc ride if anyone is keen for that idea... limiting to 250 excludes tons of bikes like vfr NC30 which are not that much faster than 250 2 strokes...

I would definately check out the wednesday night ride if I were you! The stuff we learn is great, helped me a few times!

Otherwise keep a look out on the KB calendar, there will always be something happening on there now that summers back.

So seeing that I just did the Northland loop on the Hooligan, the while princess is begging me to take her up those same roads soon. Should I assume that if I start a 250cc northland loop for SAT 6th Dec, you will grace us with your presence ?

O by the way Sheepshagger, how many Km have you done on a bike ?

I'm planning to organise a couple of 250 rides over summer again. Probably won't be till the new year but keep an eye out.
