Sweet, 3-400 sounds cheap, is that you putting them in yourself? If you have a doubt give the guys at speed-tech a call, they are good guys and they know their stuff.

Done the 100 kms of gravel last summer in that area , coming in from the coast, from Mokau onto the forgotten Highway!!

Won't be there for drinks as we have 1500 Kms of tarseal to eat up- doin the far north trip with Boyds. Feel free to drop in one night on ur way past tho. We hear you most nights

Sweet, maybe thursday or one night next week, i am an extremely busy nerd at the moment between making sites, working, defensive driving, seeing specialists and MRI scans SIGH!

Bryce told me to change down when i go past, managed to squeeze out a couple of yellow flames past your place purely accidental of course.

RT at crown quoted me @ 3 - 400 also for the stage 1 Ohlins fr end kit which consists of springs & oils only Boyds cost to install @ $200, stage 2 is when you start playing with the valves.

The difference the Ohlins has made to the rear of my BB is amazing to say the least, still tinkering with it at the moment but slowly making headway...

Ohlins is oneway of going $$$$$$ my rr shock for the BB cost $2k custom setup for my weight/height & NZ road conditions @ $200 to install, but worth it the amount of adjustment you can make is truely amazing very simple to do just takes time & kms. I know of a group of BB owners that have gone for a Penske rr shock , alot less cost than a Ohlins @ a 3rd but a little unsure about after sale service ie: parts backup, rebuilds etc.... still waiting on feedback from these guys & the feedback should be interesting as the BB group is worldwide so no doubt feedback will vary.

you really dont have too... hopefully she will make saturday.. (for those who dont know she got diagnosed with viral meningitis) she is doing sweet just has PLPH at the mo which is post lumber puncture headaches, so she cant stand up but is getting something done today.. which in theory should fix her.

for those of you with atc2k's have you found that if your recording and run out of batterys that you loose the vid you were recording, or is that crap SD card??

For those wondering about this Sunday, by popular agreement Kawhia is being given a miss with some riders having done it over the last 2 weekends. Mister Koz and I will be doing a route up to night and hopefully will be on calendar tomorrow sometime. Involves stopping at a lake about 1/2 way and maybe a swim for those inclined. Probably 320km+ ride with some back road, some highway.

Sorry murray i was going to mention it on monday but got swept up in other things, thanks for giving people the heads up. I am really looking forward to this ride and the swim in the middle. Only tricky part is having enough room for my towel and a picnic... hrm....
