don't have to worry about dirt coming from the north

Only a few hours from ChCh either direction inland via Omarama or inland at Waimate to Kurow then down to Duntroon or just along SH1 to Pukeuri

sorry that I wil not be able to allow you to realise your fantasy
as the XS will be parked up, this old fellow will be sitting at home knowing his friends are enjoying a good time,
All for the lack of finance and a very sore back.
Tis Xmass time and I must put the passion of my bike to the side for a while and enjoy the love of my two little grand daughters who I want to spend more time with.
I almost droole at the thoughts of an weekend abandoning the rules of society, partying with a group of people who know who they are and where they are going, no masks or hidden agendas, just friends having a great time.

But there will always be anothe sunset to ride into
another set of twisty roads to challenge my style ( woodstock?)
and always you group of real people I have come to respect
Rock on and party hard my friends, have a round of shots for me.
To be old and wise, first you must be young and stupid.

Yor jokin, never go down the east coast way. Will be coming from Omarama way, just didn't fancy 50km gravel at the end of the day.

But tell me how are you finding the pills?

The pub in Duntroon (and the bikers therein) will give directions to the camp... ALL sealed... to the gate..

The speed camera that usually hides through Burke's pass is more of a concern than the twizel cop

While I have enjoyed reading about tent erections................ I have one (or two) more mundane practical questions

XKnuts or Shrek or whoever knows - do the cabins have any cooking facilities? Do we need to bring a pan etc or does the camp kitchen have all that stuff ??

Sounds like we will need a couple of breakfasts at the site, but unless we're getting there early enough to need to cook a Friday night feed then I presume we'll be out riding for the other meals??
The feed at Fleur's at Moeraki was Sat? - lunchtime or dinner?
    Thanks
