Judging by the km's that would be you lot I see out most of the time.
TOTO...60,000km's. Wow!
I'm sure there will be a few on here that do low km's. I have a friend that only rides on days where he is guaranteed there will be no rain. He ould do around 300km's per year. When he sells his bikes after a few years they have usually done around 1000-1400km's.
We bought a GPZ250 for my wife that had done 1100km's in 10 months. I then added 400kmm's on the first day of ownership.
Yesterday I met a rider who ahd bought a 12 month old DR650 with 400km's on the clock. It seems the visions of returning to riding and actually returning to riding didn't match up for that owner.
When my kids were younger I could never run up the km's I do now. Two of my kids have just started riding and this will probably drop my km's as well.
If you have a good work commute that would clock up km's as well. My work commute km's are 0 (zero). I work from home. I'd love to be at the end of some deserted winding roads with a commute to work each day.
I have had my scooter for 3 1/2 months, but I haven't ridden every weekend. Still, I've managed to run up over 9000kms on it - meanwhile in the car a tank of gas has lasted over 3 months and there is still over a third of a tank left.
If I keep the mileage up I'll exceed 30 000kms per year. When I bought it there was 3950 on the clock & it was almost 2 years old.
I've had my klx for 6 months now, just clicked over 7000 kms last week... meanwhile my car has developed cobwebs for the first time ever.
Holy shit ,
Maybe its the guy i know always wants to organise a ride but can never go on them , its too windy, cold , hot , wet , have got work or i have a full tank of gas it would be a shame to waste it
He gets it out on a sunday rides it round the block spends the rest of the day polishing it then puts it back in the shed![]()
Just going my own way
I pushed my DR 12000 kms just to make this post.
Embarassingly, I only do about 1200km per year.
I would like to do 10 times this and will probably increase my mileage when I update my bike.
I also race old cars so during the summer not all weekends are free.
I have been riding the bike for about 4 months now and have clocked up just under 10,000km. I love my baby!![]()

Get a few long overnighters in.
I changed to a new magic carpet a couple of months ago, had done 4000 on her and 4600 on the new one. racked up a staggering 1800 on the Harley............well it was a wet winter!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
Eased up a bit this year but still ended up around 27-28,000.
