It's been what 2-3 days? If you choose to hit her up about the money from her (which is a no brainer), the longer you leave it the harder it will be.

I also can't believe how many horny buggers are on here!!

If you still speak to your ex, get her to mention something about it. You can test the waters to her reaction (will she be a bitch or not, then your prepped for it). If you aren't talking to your ex, don't mention anything on here, cause someone is bound to ask for her number and photo's.

    Well...

    The update,

I sent her a nice gentle text message saying basically that we need to sort out a time to talk about my bike and that i realise that it was an accident but that i dont think it would be fair in any way for me to have to pay for the damage done. I also said that i would be looking around at prices to see if it would be woth going to my insurance company. I finished the long text by saying that i suggest she tells her parents what had happened.

This was at 11.10 yesterday morning and i didn't recieve a reply so thought i would try again at 5pm when i got off work. I simply said. "if you dont have txts you can acll me at home 123456789."

As im sure your not surprised to hear, i have not yet heared from her.

I did however run into my ex while i was working today. She was with a group of friends of mine. And i asked her if the girl in question had any credit to text atm. She replied with a blunt "no". So wtf i thought, looks like shes going to be a bitcha bout this. Then i finish work and go to talk to my mate (the one that rides) and he said that when they were all talking my ex said something along the lines of "he's still winging on about his bike ffs"

So i think i might have to take abit more of a hard approach.

    Just an update for y'all

Yep sounds like she is employing the age old and ever popular.. ignore it and hopefully he will tire and go away.
Forget the texting mate. Give your insurance company her mobile number and name and wait for her to call you. It wont take long.

16yo girls being all bitchy and its all about you being a whiner.... go figure.

Call her father - lodge a claim with your insurance and give her details, and document stuff so you can take her to small claims.

You sound like a nice guy - but remember its generally the nice guys who get run all over.

Dont make this a life lesson for yourself - get firm on her ass. (not that way - well until later anyway)

Take her cellphone without her permission and accidentally drop it down a drain.
Say "Oops! I feel embarrassed!" then leave.

Don't u just hate good looking chicks that are just plain dumb? Unless she was Jessica Alba, she'd be paying in cash. Jessica would be paying too mind you, just not in cash.

just reading about the way they are handling this, is annoying me greatly, the victim here is you! they should be bending over backwards to make it up to you! when you get the money you need to fix your bike (from them, not from your own pocket, or from your insurance at your expense) i will consider this a small victory for bikers everywhere.... the situation just isn't fair

dude to get the point across you would have to somehow drop her car on its side if shes got one... its the only way she would understand, who wants to get a group of us to find her car and turn it on its side?!

I think that no matter how you go about this the teenage girl mentality will mean that you are branded the money grabbing prick. That's just the nature of the beast, contact your insurance company and give them her details, that way you are only doing what is required of you and maybe she will learn a lesson in personal responsibility. The longer you let things slide the more dramatic the situation will become, lots of good drama for those of us on the sidelines watching but you will end up out of pocket.

Remember this is what you pay your premiums for, so the insurance company does the chasing and you get your ride fixed.

    Dude.......

Don't fuck around.......Just file a claim and let insurance handle it..........it's gunna get messey so let insurance sort it.
