Teknic is a pretty popular make over here in europe and seem to be fairly well thought of with a good few racers wearing their gear. The price seems pretty good aswell when I convert it back to euro. I have a pair of there gloves and cant fault them so if the rest of their gear is as good then Id say go for it

i bought this exact suit a month ago,and i love it
it's comfortable straight out of the shop.
it's got shoulder, elbow, back, hip, knee, and shin armour.it's also got a neoprene colar, that's way more comfortable then the last leather one i had.
i did a lot of searching before i decided on this one,and i believe,it's the best value for money suit in it's price range (well at least out of all the ones i could find anyway).
but don't pay any more then $899 .as that's what you can get them for in the shop.infact,if you add the price of postage on top of it,you'd be better off going to your local teknic dealing bike shop.
Just brought Teknic, powerskin pants for Gaby for Christmas and a pair for myself from Santa
Not leather though. My brother in law wears the leather ones in Portugal. He loves them.
Very expensive over there.
If you are behind me
Dont ask as I am lost too.
In my opinion (and I have done a lot of testing, unfortunately) teknic is up there with the best. Better than alpinestars in leathers and gloves by a country mile. It is the best value for money you can get. The teknic gloves I use have been down the track approx 10 times and are still going strong! Can't say a bad word about them.
That suit is going at a pretty good price, so long as it fits you then it will last you a long time. Good luck!

I have a pair of teknic boots that have served me well for many years. Good stuff.
Ride, eat, sleep, repeat!
I have a Teknic Goretex winter jacket. It's getting a bit old and tired, but it is still 100% waterproof. It's the best jacket I have yet owned.

Many years in my Teknic Lightning jacket, will definitely be looking at their gear again in the future.
I've had a Teknic Hurricane jacket for about 8 years (albeit, with heavy modification in the form of leather overlays on the sleeves/shoulders for the last 5 or 6). It's been great, and the only reason it's now 'semi-retired' is because the cordura is badly faded and looks crappy (so makes me embarrassed) and the velcro is tired. As a matter of fact, I wore it last week, and apart from the aforementioned vlecro pissing me off when I first put it on, it was still very good. The armour is better than my current jacket's, the liner is much easier to install and remove, and the venting is icomparable: a total of 8 self-sealing zips.
I haven't owned any other Teknic gear, but I would have to say that to some extent you get what you pay for. It's cheaper than Spidi gear, but the materials, cut and design don't look to be quite as good.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
I started out riding with technic gear and I have just recently upgraded all my gear.
Guess what still all technic (well except the gloves, the spidi had what I needed)
and definitely you can not fault the gear.

Oi! where's me tigers head?
4 ft from its tail!
I can show you two pairs of gloves (taking a photo probably wouldn't illustrate it) one a pair of astar gp plus and the other a set of teknic's that were about $50 less. Both 2nd to top in the product line.
Now, one crash in the astars and my fingers were sticking out the end. I've had 12 (yes twelve) crashes in the Teknic's and they are still totally acceptable to be used to race in. I am replacing them (with some Teknic violators) but will still keep the old teknic's for a backup pair.
I have had 2 sets of astar gloves and the same thing occurred on the first pair. Imo they are crap and if you talk to any higher level racers who aren't sponsored by astars they will say that unless you get the casey stoner custom made treatment they aren't the best. The only thing astars are good at are making boots. But even then they are quite bulky for some racing applications.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon
