    who cares what the top speed is? any other 250 will do 140 or more anyway, and that's twice what a learner is legally allowed to do


    what's more important is handling and 'learner friendliness' which teh vtr has well and truly sussed - without rusting too

    i remember the first time i had a ride on it: "you might not want to take the motorway; there's no emergency should on the newmarket overpass"
