I'd like a 22nd anniversary model. In February, please.

Does the normal model have the Brembo's on as well?

    It is gorgeous.

You forgot forged pistons and increased capacity!

I do like it a lot though!

Brembo's are new on this years 08-09 model, mine was the last of 07-08 model wich had the radial Nissins.

Suposably the Nissins fade to quick and dont have enough stopping power for some people, cant see it myself. Personally I think it was change for the sake of change so the shops could spout on about these "upgrades" on the new model.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

calling the flyscreen a "pixie hat" is very funny.

    Just saying.

I prefer the look without it.

The earlier one's (05-06) have issues with long lever travel caused by sticky pistons. Yours won't be an issue, but mine sure as hell is! Still stops ok though.

It only affected 1050's with Vin number pre 253302. I've just had mine cleaned and they're mint at the moment, but they'll turn to shit within the next 5000km. I'm hoping to get it fixed permanently via Triumph, but I'm not holding my breath. New coated pistons and seals are probably about $450!

The heat sheild is standard in Europe and USA because they have Catalytic converters NZ models don't have the Catalytic converters and air injection so dont need the heat sheilds.
