I hear you, Str8, and its a right pain in the arse (or wherever!)
However, when my daughter was seriously ill and needed urgent neurosurgery, she got it. I felt really sorry for the poor bastard who was sent home that day to accomodate her, but absolutely relieved that she got what she needed when she needed it.
Its a bit of a balancing act, for sure, and I'd hate to be the one making the decisions...
All you can do is jump up and down, as Mom says.
