I take it a RM250 should make it round on a tank? (Never really considered kms when riding) Will be up there with any luck!

Right, just booked Punch's, brothers and my spot for this.

Can anyone suggest a place where I can get a 0.3L (or kg?) fire extinguisher from? One of the small ones.

Try a marine supplier, I've always found them at westhaven...you're in Chowick? Try Half Moon Bay marina, there is a chandlery there which may have them.

Also, figure out a way to mount them on the bike before you go.....they bloody hurt if you stick them in your camelback and decide to have a lie down!

    Might I just add:
    ...Okay, I'm done.
Anyone know where and how to put the little extinguishers? I figured maybe duct tape them somewhere? No room in my camelback really.

the ones me and my mates have had come with a mounting bracket, mount the bracket to your front guard with 2 bolts, then stick the extiguisher in the bracket. put some insulation tape around the extinguisher and the bracekt so when you crash it doesnt fall out. also wrap some extra tape around so when you crash real good you have more to tape it on with again.

can get these extingushers for $18 from a sports excersize equipment place on the pakuranga road, they used to sell them on tardme. i could dig up their email address if anyone wants it

With all that tape wrapped around the CO2 metal can, you're bound to break nails tearing it off in a hurry. Fires can get out of control real fast. You'd think by now they'd have come up with something soft to hold the chemical agent in, like a miniature garden sprayer. Sodium Bicarbonate is one of the best fire extinguishing agents, it can be mixed up at home. hmmm maybe theres a market in that.

i was meaning wrap more tape just around the extinguiser itself as spome spare tape. as far as sticking the extinguisher to the bracket, 1 or 2 loops is enough.

at the end of the day tho, if my bike catches fire in the bush, and the bush catehces fire too, im not going to hang around with a pindick little extinguisher thats probably only good for putting out a candle, im fucken gone, fuck ya forest thats what insurance is for.
