Super crazy awesome, bro. You were pretty much rally-driving that SV around the track. Drift Dimension stylez ftw!

I honestly don't know how you did it; you were on Racetecs, right?

I think so, the rear was a 160/60?

it was pretty interesting to say the least, the bike would let just go if i dropped it into fast, and for a while there was a huge puddle in front of the old pits, right where i'd have the pick's on. The front would go to full right lock while it aqua planed, then straighten up when it regripped..... I was all like, whea hey hey....

Yeah and Shaun, that bike worked out a treat. Love the K6 front end. I think Glen had some teething issues with it, but I've never been more relaxed on a 600. $7000 what a steal. It got a right good thrashing over the weekend though. I kicked the gear lever the wrong way a couple of times, cause I was learning how to do reverse shift also, that can't be good for the engine.

I'd say! A totally dry event would have made for a far less interesting conclusion.

Chris was out there in the morning in the piss pooring rain - he was doing 1.58's i the pooring rain - looking very interesting! Before he changed to wet tyres he was looking a bit like Kiyonari with more than a few slides from both the front and back end.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

    Yeahboi Congrats to the winners

Well what do i say!..Done 5 trackdays at taupo on my road 7friddy now, then do my first race on an alien ZX10-r (69) I was crying like a baby when my first test ride had to be in the wet too..My mate Danger Dave got to do the first practice in the dry and qualified 6th.I did the Leman start & tripped over my feet then jumped on the bike & thought i started it but didn't..(lot of butterfly's)..
was 12th/15th into first corner doh!.
What a mind fark it was racing on wets...it was awesome! I slowly got quicker & quicker then the mighty ZX10 was doing power wheelies onto the start/ finished straight(Anyone want to buy my K6 GSXR750?)...I found that puddle Matt waz talking about lol & watch some one in front of me go grass tracking after they regained from aquaplaning.
So I went from crying to can't get enough of riding on wets & it still boggles me little brain just how quick one can go on wets!
Hats off to all the hard bastards that use road tyres,& I like to thank Tobby for waking up from snoring & telling us we're a bunch of noisy Hua's then he goes back to snoring lol.

Oops buy the way me & Dave were three laps down from the leaders
    & got...4TH

    yeahboi
    Fook Yeah!...Me Got DRZ400sm Now!

& still can't spell for shit!

Looking at the tyres at the end of my stint I could have been rougher on the sides. If the weather was dry, there's no way we would have won.

Extremelly well done Team Very glad you guys bought the bike and did your stuff on it.
