That bloody aweful cover of Bryan Adams' "Heaven" deserves a mention in this thread as well
Worst cover:
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.
Rolf Harris - Stairway to Heaven . They took a classic song took out all the songs diginity and shoved it down the toilet![]()
Just going my own way
and what about this one.....
The Hoff sings Love Me Tender.....![]()

"...you meet the weirdest people riding a Guzzi !!..."
Madonna's Vogue is a fucking awful rip-off of Malcolm McLaren's Deep in Vogue. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a cover, as I'm sure the lawyers would be quick to point out, especially as it was only released 18 months later.
Never mind the Scissor Sisters, there's a reggae band doing covers of Floyd etc that is mostly cringeworthy. (Dread Zeppelin?)
Cheers,
Colin

Man alive, I'm in tears here. And I've run out of bling!
Still can't believe what they did to Comfortably numb!
After wandering into this thread and progressing through the respective post I feel the need to head to my Doctors as it appears my ears are bleeding, I cant hear much either.
My god some folks just don't know when to quit do they, I wonder what goes through their heads, is it, they get told no you cant sing, so they decide they need a bigger audience, and it grows from there till they get themselves on youtube for the whole world to repeat they cant sing.
They are either driven and determined or stubborn and sh^t headed, more the latter I think.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Hinder's version of Thunderstruck is one I hate with a vengeance. Why kill what was a great song?
