well I am home. mint day at the track. Got a little wet this morning but quickly dried out and made for some awesome riding.

Managed to get step 1 ok, brought the bike back in one piece but has a major shudder in the front under heavy braking and over 160k. Really bad on the track but not even noticeable at road speeds. I am thinking either shit brake pads or front wheel not balanced. At the stage I am not entertaining the thought of warped discs cause that is an expensive exercise.
Managed to put together some 1.30s which is 5s off the 1.25 I was hoping for but great day out all the same.
Wait for the bragging to come from a certain tiger rider.......... On ya 86. had some fun out there.
Was good to catch up with R-Dog too. Push the fear.............

Indeed a good day out, with the exception of the rain. Good variety of bikes raced and on show. So loved the v-twins out on the track and the sound they make, unlike those noisy 125s.

    Anyhow here are some pics.

Absolutely brilliant day out! Great to catch up with so many cool people. Shame about the shower slowing down the first session, it felt a bit trecherous out there to begin with but soon dried out. I was hyper aware of having no insurance, but once the tires warmed up it was nice to forget about that. Quite pleased with some timings, heard 1:28 which wasn't too bad I think for a Tiger, wonder how the Daytona would go? Almost got me knee down too and my left boot is shagged, time for the duck tape. Lance, always a pleasure, must be something to do with age, or something

Some more pics including some guy who may have gone too wide. The rider was ok, just a bust up ego and bike. Note the last picture and see how the wheel has snapped off the forks after hitting the tyre barrier.

Hey, very nice, thanks! I quite like the third one, is that a Tiger ahead of a 9? (couldn't resist )

That would be about the time i started stamping my feet ! When i wasn't let out to come and play with you guys !!!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
